VGO Taxi Passenger Account Top-Up Service Agreement
1. Purpose and Scope of the Agreement
1) This top-up service agreement applies to all registered passengers who make prepaid balance top-ups on the passenger side of this platform.
2) By completing an online top-up and confirming the top-up, the passenger indicates full acceptance of all terms of this agreement and voluntarily complies with all platform rules regarding top-ups, consumption, refunds, and benefit issuance.
3) Funds topped up by the passenger may only be used to offset fares for legal ride-hailing orders on the platform and shall not be used for any other purpose.
2. Description of Top-Up Principal
1) Amounts topped up by the passenger via online payment methods provided by the APP shall be fully credited to the passenger’s account wallet balance.
2) The wallet balance is permanently valid, with no expiration date, and will not automatically expire, be cleared or become invalid.
3) The wallet balance may be used in full to offset fares, either independently or in combination with platform-issued Deductions.
4) The wallet balance is strictly for personal ride consumption only; it is non-transferable, non-cashable, and may not be used for third-party payments.
3. Rules for Issuance and Use of Bonus Deductions from Top-Ups
1) Upon each successful cash top-up by the passenger, the platform will grant additional bonus Deductions to the passenger’s account free of charge, in accordance with the ratio of the current promotion.
2) Deductions are promotional benefits provided by the platform and do not constitute the user’s cash assets.
3) Purpose of Deductions: may only be used to offset ride-hailing order fares; they are non-withdrawable, non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash.
4) Fare deduction order: priority deduction from Deductions → any remaining amount deducted from the passenger’s top-up principal.
5) Deductions are permanently valid.
6) Deductions are limited to the passenger’s own account; once issued, they may not be manually adjusted, returned or transferred.
4. Normal Use and Deduction Rules for Wallet Balance
1) After a passenger places and completes a ride order, Deductions and wallet balance may be used preferentially during online payment.
2) If the account balance is insufficient to cover the fare, the passenger shall use other online payment methods to make up the difference.
5. Refund Rules for Top-Up Principal
5.1 Only the top-up principal is eligible for refund; bonus Deductions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash under any circumstances.
5.2 Conditions for Prepaid Top-Up Refunds: To apply for a refund of a prepaid top-up, the passenger must meet the following requirements:
1) No pending or incomplete ride orders in the account;
2) No violations or irregular account activities;
3) The refund application complies with the platform’s refund review standards (e.g., no special clauses restricting refunds under the promotion).
5.3 Deduction Handling Rules:
1) If no Deductions have been used at the time of refund application: upon platform approval, the full top-up principal will be refunded, and the Deductions corresponding to the refunded amount in the passenger’s account will be cancelled.
2) If Deductions have already been used at the time of refund application: upon platform approval, the refundable top-up principal shall be the actual top-up amount minus the value of used Deductions. Meanwhile, any unused Deductions in the passenger’s account shall be invalidated and forfeited.
5.4 Refund Processing Time: Once the platform approves the refund application, the refund will be returned via the original payment channel. The arrival time is subject to the processing speed of the payment institution (normally within 7 working days).
5.5 Upon successful refund, all promotional benefits corresponding to the relevant top-up shall be automatically cancelled and will not be reinstated.
6. Explicit Non-Refundable Terms for Deductions
1) All platform-issued Deductions are promotional and complimentary benefits, and do not constitute the private property of the user.
2) Deductions are permanently non-refundable, non-cashable and non-compensable, regardless of whether they have been used, expired or involved in a refund application.
3) By participating in the top-up promotion, the passenger acknowledges the non-refundable nature of Deductions and shall not file complaints, appeals or claims on this basis thereafter.
7. Prohibition on Cashing Out and Violation Penalties
7.1 Passengers are strictly prohibited from fraudulent orders using multiple accounts, fake top-ups, fake ride orders, maliciously obtaining Deductions, or conducting malicious batch refunds.
7.2 In case of detected violations:
1) The account balance and Deductions will be frozen immediately;
2) All benefits will be revoked;
3) All refund applications will be rejected;
4) The account will be permanently suspended for serious violations.
8. Account Security and Liability
1) Passengers shall properly keep their account, mobile device, login password and payment password. All top-up, consumption and usage records under the account shall be deemed as operations performed by the passenger personally.
2) The platform shall not be liable for any unauthorized use of balance or Deductions due to lost mobile devices, account sharing or password disclosure.
9. Rule Amendments and Notices
1) The platform may reasonably adjust the top-up ratio, Deduction bonus ratio and Deduction validity period according to operational needs.
2) Any changes to the rules will be notified in advance via APP pop-ups, in-app messages or homepage announcements, and shall take effect automatically upon notice.
10. Final Provisions
This top-up agreement shall have the same legal force as the platform’s user agreement, privacy policy and ride rules. By completing a top-up, the passenger is deemed to have fully accepted all terms without objection.
