Rules for the Use of VGO Taxi Deduction

1.  Scope of Application

These Rules apply to the "Top-Up Bonus Deduction " promotion (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion") on the passenger side of the VGO Taxi platform. All passengers participating in the Promotion shall comply with these Rules. Use of the platform’s services shall constitute full acceptance of these Rules.

2.  Definition and Acquisition of Deduction

2.1 Definition of Deduction: Deduction are consumption discount benefits provided free of charge by the platform to passengers when they voluntarily top up their accounts on the passenger side, in a certain proportion to the top-up amount (the specific ratio shall be subject to real-time display on the promotion page). Deduction may only be used to offset the actual payable amount of subsequent ride-hailing orders.

2.2 Method of Acquisition: During the validity period of the Promotion, upon successful completion of account top-up via the passenger side, the corresponding Deduction shall be automatically issued to the passenger’s account. Passengers may check the Deduction amount in Me → Wallet → Deduction.

3.  Rules for Using Deduction

3.1 Priority of Use: When paying for a ride-hailing order, passengers may give priority to using available Deduction in their account to offset the payable amount. Any insufficient portion shall be covered by the passenger’s top-up balance or other online payment methods.

3.2 Scope of Use: Deduction may be used to offset the payable amount of all compliant ride-hailing services on the platform. Deduction are non-refundable, non-cashable and non-transferable.

3.3 Validity Period: Deduction become valid upon issuance and remain valid permanently.

4.  Non‑Refundable Policy for Deduction

4.1 Deduction are complimentary benefits issued by the platform and shall not be refunded, withdrawn or exchanged for cash in any form. No refund shall be made for Deduction regardless of whether they have been used.

4.2 Deduction are limited to the passenger’s own account and may not be gifted or transferred to others. The platform shall not be liable if Deduction are used by others due to the passenger’s own fault.

5. Top-Up Refunds and Deduction Handling

5.1 Conditions for Top-Up Refunds: A passenger applying for a top-up refund must meet the following requirements:

1) No pending or incomplete ride-hailing orders in the account;

2) No violations or irregular account activities;

3) The refund application complies with the platform’s refund review standards (e.g., no special clauses restricting refunds under the Promotion).

5.2 Deduction Handling Rules:

1)  If no Deduction have been used when the refund is applied for: upon approval, the full top-up principal will be refunded, and the Deduction corresponding to the refunded amount will be cancelled from the passenger’s account.

2) If any Deduction have been used when the refund is applied for: upon approval, the refundable top-up principal shall be the actual top-up amount minus the value of used Deduction. Meanwhile, any unused Deduction in the account shall be invalidated and forfeited.

5.3 Refund Timeline: Approved refunds will be returned via the original payment channel. The arrival time is subject to the processing speed of the payment institution (normally within 7 working days).

6. Miscellaneous Provisions

6.1 In the event of malicious exploitation or abuse of Deduction (including fraudulent top-ups, refund fraud to obtain benefits, etc.), the platform reserves the right to freeze the account, reclaim unused Deduction, and disqualify the passenger from future promotions.

6.2 The platform may adjust these Rules (including Deduction ratio, validity period, scope of use, etc.) based on operational needs. Adjustments will be notified in advance via in-app announcements, SMS or other means, and shall take effect on the date specified in the notice.

6.3 Any matters not covered by these Rules shall be resolved through mutual consultation. If no agreement can be reached, either party may submit the dispute to arbitration administered by the platform’s operator.
